Silence from this 3 year old is never a good thing...
Mom wonders why the sudden silence from her 3 year old...
Mom calls from the other room:"Hey Addz, whatcha doin in there?"
Daughter suspiciously replies:"Nothing"
Now skeptical, Mom makes her way to a newly closed door, opens it-
Mom: Big Gasp!
3 Year old:"I wanted short hair like you Mom"...
Self cut hairdo

Oh, how sad. Your fixer up haircut is really cute. We just went through this with Skyler, (although I suspect a big brother helped.)
Ooh, I think it's hilarious. Every child has to do at some point, if it's not cutting their own than it's cutting a siblings. Cambry had unwanted bangs for a year because she basically scalped herself to "get her hair out of her eyes". You've just got to love em', right? Adelaide is beautiful anyway!
She did pretty well...bangs still intact. Not bad. I have seen some hack jobs done by less adept three year old aspiring hairdressers which brought their mothers to tears because they ended up looking like a boy with a mohawk. It's kind of cute!
I think she looks adorable! I'm so impressed with your fixer cut. I didn't realize you were such a skilled hairdresser! That is one of the perks of having boys. There's really not much hair to work with (or get annoyed with) so they probably wont bother with trying to cut their own hair. Your girls really are beautiful, just like thier mommy!
She looks darling! At least it turned out cute in the end, huh? I'm lucky that I haven't had to experience that quite yet. Kallie's pretty good about not getting into things like that. I'm thinking Whitney will be my hair stylist. Only time will tell!
I have to add a little story here. When my brother was about that same age, he took scissors to his eyelashes. He has gorgeous long, thick lashes and was embarrased by the attention they gathered. So, he chopped 'em. Not as noticeable as hair and they did grow back just as thick and beautiful. But, scary for my mom, still! :)
She doesn't even look like the same girl!! We miss you guys and wish that you would come visit...acutally we wish we would go visit you, it's too cold here and we are nowhere near white sandy beaches! Love ya!
Oh no...how sad, but you fixed it up great--she looks darling! Jocey's threatened to do that, but hasn't yet...I won't be surprised if it happens at some point, though.
Oh no! That is one of my fears having girls... She looks so much older now.
How's life? (other than your 3 year old keeping you on your toes...)
Oh SO CUTE! (Just like her aunt!)
That child could shave all her hair off and still be beautiful--her sister too!
I love you guys!

Oh dear! She looks adorable with short hair, just like her mommy. I must admit that it is nice to have a boy for that reason!
Well you certainly have a child who will blaze their own trail in life. That's a good thing. The short hair is cute on her just like it is on her momma!
I agree...silence is never a good thing with children. Unless they're sleeping.
It was so great to see you guys. Thanks for letting us drop in on you.
We love you!!!
oh no! what a funny girl. she would even be cute bald! (but don't tell her that! too many ideas! :)
Her new haircut is very cute! You did a great fixer-upper job!
