In-Love and In-Law (Week Two of Vacation)

I am completely in love with my in-laws ("you fell in love with me?"). In fact I really don't prefer to call them in-laws, they are my family In-(by and through)Love. I really got the sweetest deal the day I was sealed to Spencer. I got the most perfect, spiritually complimentary, light cleavingly faithful soldier of a man for forever.. AND his most generous, optimistically real, humbly righteous, hilariously clever, open armed serving, love every second I'm around them~ family. He would've been more than I deserve, but all of them too!!

My cup gusheth over.

What an amazing (and much needed) time together. More than anything else, I just love being around them, talking, laughing, sharing... learning what makes them so wonderful. They are such examples to me of how to be a better mother, wife, daughter, and Saint. They are one of my life's greatest treasures and most obvious miracles. I love you all so much and am delighted you are my family.

It was so peaceful, beautiful and reflective there at the house in Eugene. The trees, the mists in the morning, waking up to Dad's hot chocolate. We were able to be with everyone except the Utah Lake's and Pete (Christmas? Oh' Please! I hope you are all still coming. Forget how much I love being with you, at least come for an updated photo-since we've got Matt back from his mission and added one spouse and 5 grandbabes since the last entire fam shot.)

We were able to drive down to Ashland for Molly's (a sister in love) baptism. What an honor it was to be a part of such a miraculous event. We felt so grateful for the planning to make it possible for us to be there. It was something we'll remember always.

It was such a blast to see Adelaide and Kamorah lovin on their cousins, ...goofing around, chasing, giggling, pretending, building bears, playing on the playgrounds, marching to Grandma Lake's piano playing! There were so many moments that deserve mentioning but I lack the posting time. I just feel so happy to have them, so grateful. Especially to Mom and Dad, who selflessly press on in the building of the kingdom and their family.

~In Love

So wonderful! I love that you married a 'local boy!' They sound like an amazing family!
So many great pictures! Hey, isn't that at Valley River Center with the cousins? Great place play!
So how is Spencer related to Alloa Jessee?

I am glad you put more pics up tooo----but let's just keep it real ( according to Randy), most people prefer seeing pics of themselves...to that end...where are those of me?

Ok, now that I have that out. I really did enjoy these pics. YOu really did alot on this little trip didn't you?

I couldn't agree more. You have TREMENDOUS in-laws. They are so very special.
You and Jessie sure lucked out marrying into that happy family!
(although I doubt luck had anything to do with it!) ;)

I love your in-loves, too! I was serving in YW when Spencer was pre-mission and I think he was the talk of all the YW in the stake. I remember when he sang a duet of Love is Spoken Here at a youth event. It gave me chills, and I knew he was going to make some lucky girl a wonderful husband. I'm glad that he was equally blessed by finding such a sweet girl to marry. And you make cute kiddos, too!

I love the way you love your family so well and so perfectly! You are an example to me on how to love people (especially our families) so well and so thoroughly. I love you Sara...for your example and who you are and are striving to become!

well, well my sweet Sara Ann. It's me, YOur Momma. I'm still trying to figure out this blogging and soon I will get it down. I loved your recent entry on the Lake family.I would like to add my 2bits also. I am so grateful for the wonderful, amazing family you married into. From the moment we first met them at dinner in Eugene to the campouts at Honeymmun(ms?) and all the wonderful family gatherings since then.As a mother you always worry and wonder about who your children will marry and the family they marry into. THe minute you walked through the front door, hand in hand with Spencer Lake, I knew he was the one for you. My dear Sara.It couldn't be just anyone. He had to be a Valliant Warrior, and special son of God. I love Spencer so much and I'm so happy he is in our family. I like to pretend that I am related to Bry and Leslie, and Grandma Lake, and all their children.I look forward to many more get-to-gethers. love you Sara and Spencer, Addy, Kamorah., love, momma and G'ma Judy
