Hilarious Children

Surely I am not the only parent who finds their children completely hilarious. Several times a day I laugh out loud at their honest, unintentional cuteness. I wish I had their ability to be so carefree. To enjoy more the simplicities of life. To not be caught up in others opinions. To let go of worry and just live sometimes...regardless of how silly I may look.

The entertaining humor they bring and find in their everyday exploring is a miracle to me. One which fills my day with delight! How I want to be like them!

"Humor is in the way we see things, the way we think. It’s an attitude, not an event. Perhaps the key lies in becoming more childlike...

Laugh more, play more, swing out of familiar places, be more the way you were when you were a child."(The Power of Laughter,Gary K. Palmer,Teaching Professor of Recreation Management and Youth Leadership, Brigham Young University).

"And He called a child to Himself and set him before them, and said, "Truly I say to you, unless you are converted and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven. "Whoever then humbles himself as this child, he is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven." Matthew...

How beautiful your children are! Love Adalaide's singin'! Gotta love the joy on Kamorah's face and the spring in her bounce! So much energy! Wish I could catch it in a bottle and drink some of it myself!

Alicia Keys' "No One" must be the #1 chart topper according to Toddler Radio, because my niece is in love with it, too! She's more apt to do the "uh oh oh oh ohs" and to be on key, too:) Can any one say "American Idol?" Perhaps Addy and her will be co-finalists someday...:)

Yes my kid cracks me up every day and I'm glad that I am not so harried that I notice and get to laugh with him. Did you ever have Palmer as a teacher at BYU? He was the best. I have like 5 pages of quotes he handed out as required reading. Love it!

Jamie, we got our bouncer at Shopko. Ty LOVED it, and it really helped to strengthen his legs! And it helped him loosen up his bowels, as well. Double excitement!
